Aging Better Expo - Elderwerks

Shire Law Group, PC® is proud to be a sponsor of the Elderwerks Aging Better Expo on August 9-13, 2021. This virtual expo will be a great opportunity for participants to learn about all of the services and resources available to assist the elder community to age better and meet those who provide such services. Shire Law Group believes that being a part of the local community is about more than just sharing the same zip code. The Shire Inspires Scholarship was established to celebrate Shire's value of commitment to the community. The scholarship is awarded each year to a senior who is passionate about making a difference in the world.

Stevenson to College (S2C) Program

The S2C Program provides students with the mentoring and support they need to make it to College, persevere and earn their life-changing degree. The program focuses on students that are first generation to College in their family. Caren E. I. Naidoff and Alan R. Press are proud to act as mentors in this innovative and essential program for our community’s young scholars.

District 95 Superhero Shuffle March 13-27, 2021

Shire Law Group, PC® is proud to sponsor and support the District 95 Foundation Superhero Shuffle!

Join the District 95 Foundation for a Virtual 5K to honor all the Superheroes in our community- educators, health care workers, first responders, frontline workers, small business owners, parents or whoever has been an inspiration to you throughout the pandemic. Funds raised will support the District 95 Educational Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds and provide resources for additional innovations that empower all learners to achieve personal excellence. Funds raised from this event will support teacher innovation grants, District-wide STEAM initiatives, high school internship opportunities, and needs for under-resourced students.

Shire Law Group, PC® Supports Stevenson to College (S2C) Mentor Program

Alan R. Press and Caren E.I. Naidoff from Shire Law Group, PC® are involved as mentors in the Stevenson High School Foundation S2C - Stevenson to College Mentoring program. In addition, Shire Law Group, P.C.® will also be providing a renewable scholarship (the “Shire Inspired Scholarship”) to students heading to college after graduation.

MDA Food Truck Benefit

Shire Law Group, PC® was honored and proud to donate a family pass to Great America for a raffle to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association in a great event organized by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department that featured food trucks, games and fun for the entire community.

Caren’s father was an artist who left behind amazing supplies that she wanted to make sure landed in the hands of people who needed them most. 

Every year, Chicago’s 15,000+ public school teachers and 10,000+ community and social service organizations scramble to acquire much needed art supplies to support the continuation of art programs for children and students who may not otherwise have access to resources. 

We are proud to be a part of this important program that fosters creativity by re-imaging and re-distributing resources.
